Deka CO2 treatments are recommended for Fitzpatrick skin types I-III.

The treatment itself takes about 20-45 minutes, depending on the area being treated. You should allow for an additional 30 minutes for topical numbing prior to beginning. The numbing helps make the treatment relatively comfortable, with some clients experiencing mild to moderate discomfort.

We recommend clients plan for 7-10 days of recovery time and “social” downtime after the treatment. Immediately following the treatment, the skin can feel warm like a sunburn for a few hours. In the following days the skin will appear red and swollen as it begins to heal. We recommend using our Post Procedure Recovery Kit to help facilitate quicker healing and better results.

When your skin has fully healed you can return to your normal routine. Certain products should still be avoided during this period, and your provider will let you know which ones to avoid. It is very important to avoid sun exposure in the months following your treatment- wear sunscreen everyday!

While clients often see improvements in texture and tone in the weeks following the treatment, results are maximized after three months as the process of collagen regeneration gets better over time. We recommend just one treatment every 1-2 years.
