Vivace is considered a 'combo' treatment because it adds in skin tightening with Radio Frequency during your treatment. Radio Frequency involves using energy waves to heat the dermis- the deep layer of your skin. This heat stimulates the production of collagen, which has been found to lead to tighter, younger-looking skin.

The Vivace Treatment also incorporates LED technology to calm redness and gives collagen production an extra boost.

Combining these modalities all in one treatment session leads to optimal results.

We apply numbing cream about 30 to 45 minutes prior to the treatment to ensure a comfortable patient experience.

We find that three treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, provides the more dramatic experience patients are looking for. However, this is also determined by age and skin condition. Some clients are also candidates for only one treatment. It is best to schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our providers to determine what is the best treatment plan for your skin.

We suggest blocking an hour and a half for the full Vivace Treatment. After your skin is assessed we will place a numbing cream on your skin for approximately 30-35 minutes. After the Vivace Treatment is completed, there is a final step of a relaxing "Calming Mask" that will also sit on your skin for approximately 20 minutes. Aftercare instructions will also be discussed.

Most patients go out hours after the treatment with no makeup at all. To maximize the Vivace treatment during the first four to six hours, use our Soothe Weekly Mask and Soothe Recovery System. We recommend at least six hours before you apply makeup, and you may even wait until the next morning.

Most skin colors can be treated, including tanned skin and dark skin. This is one of the many reasons we LOVE the Vivace treatment!
